THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Gelderland Netherlands.
They are an international company with a broad focus between health, food and food technologies and are determined to produce healthy and high quality nutrition to infants.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the management of all supply chain processes, both long term and short term planning and the goods inventory will be your responsibility.As the Supply Chain Planner you need to make sure that particular deadlines are met, for example product availability and inventory deadlines. You will also be responsible for the improvement of logistical processes and making the entire Supply Chain more efficient, this will be a project of 6-8 months with the possibility of extension.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Supply Chain Manager you will manage the regional planning through coaching and will focus on the continuous improvement of the entire supply chain. Next to that you will also be responsible for:
-Works together with other departments to ensure that certain deadlines are met and that the products are delivered on time.
-Participates and leads the S&OP meetings
-Is responsible for the development and initiating of supply systems that measure capacity and inventory changes
-Manages planning processes on regional level and works with the associated SOP to improve the supply chain processes.
-Focuses on achieving regional objectives, calculating and analyzing inventory costs to lower costs in the entire supply chain
-Ensures that the inventory planning, material requirements planning and production planning are well executed
REQUIREMENTS
-Bsc degree in logistics or other relevant area
-2-5 years’ experience with supply chain processes within the food industry
-Hands-on experience and result orientated
-Experience and knowledge of the Manugistics and SAP systems
-Able to manage and lead projects
