Role Description

In this role as Supply Chain Manager you will optimize customer service, minimize costs and optimize efficiency/lead process improvement aligned with the supply chain strategy of the organization. Furthermore, you will manage a small team of direct reports and will indirectly manage several supply chain project management teams.

Responsibilities

In this role as Supply Chain Manager your responsibilities include:

- The direct management of a small team, including the training, coaching and development of these employees
- Indirect management of several supply chain project teams
- Alignment of supply chain strategy with supply chain processes in collaboration with suppliers/customers
- Communication with regional and global S&OP/ sales and marketing to maintain the appropriate customer focus
- Analysis of key performance indicators and provide proposals for improvement
- Coordination of strategic meetings to develop and maintain supply chain strategy and determine aligned projects
- Implementation and maintenance of compliancy principles/practices on site

Requirements

- A Master degree in the area of Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or similar
- A minimum of five years of supply chain management experience, preferably in a multinational environment
- Good knowledge of planning, customer service, warehousing and distribution
- Good knowledge of logistics systems, such as the use of forecasting tools
- Fluency in English and good knowledge of Dutch and French.
