Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Antwerpen Belgium.

Our client is an international biopharmaceutical company located in Puurs, Belgium. They are currently looking for a Supply Chain Consultant for a Temperature Controlled logistics (TCL) project with a duration of 4-6 months with a possible extension starting asap.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Supply Chain Consultant your responsibility would be the implementation of solutions to manage risk in freight shipment based on temperature variations. Our client is implementing an innovative best-in-class solution to manage risk in global freight shipment based on seasonal temperature variations. In order to achieve this, data modelling and analysis of large quantities of data is required to detect trends and patterns that could impact product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our client is implementing an innovative best-in-class solution to manage risk in global freight shipment based on seasonal temperature variations. In order to achieve this, data modelling and analysis of large quantities of data is required to detect trends and patterns that could impact product quality.

Responsibilities:
- Data analysis and related tasks, including characterisation of shipping lanes according to pre-defined temperature zones and determination of statistics-based risk profiles.
- Participation in related meetings and presentation of analysis and Coordination with involved parties.
- conducting a review of data related to unplanned incidents in order to implement proactive mitigation and support the goal of reducing defects to zero throughout the network.
- Data analysis and related tasks to support ELC unplanned incident resolution, including analysis of shipping incident and temperature data to determine the root causes of temperature excursions.
- Assistance with issue resolution, including working with involved parties on acceptable mitigation.
- Support on cost estimation (Cost data analysis and estimation of logistics/transportation and temperature control related costs.)

REQUIREMENTS

- Master in logistics/ supply chain or Business-related subject
-Temperature-controlled logistics experience
- Knowledge of probability/statistics
- Freight forwarding/logistics experience
- Experience in the pharmaceuticals industry/ food industry
- Background or experience in IT
- fluent in English
- very good Excel skills
