Function description:
Responsible for quality assurance of supplied materials and components during product development, for customer approval and after-care. Initiating and completing measures to assure and improve good quality.


Tasks outline:
• Assess quality systems of potential and existing suppliers in Europe (Auditing).
• Coordinate activities for quality assurance of supplied materials and components in product development, in cooperation with (international) Engineering teams and international Supplier Quality Engineering colleagues at other locations.
• Responsible for correct implementation of measures leading to quality assurance of supplied materials and components to meet Sensata standards and those of our customer.
• Determine required inspections and inspection frequencies in cooperation with the customer.
• Coordinate supplier activities leading to component approval of supplies.
• Centre point for quality issues in supplies and responsible for communication between Sensata Technologies and its suppliers.

Requirements



Functional requirements:
• Bachelor or Masters degree (dutch: HBO / WO) in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.
• Good analytical and technical skills required.
• Working experience in dealing with supplier quality issues and High Volume Manufacturing troubleshooting through problem solving.
• Knowledge of latest Semiconductor / IC manufacturing process and test processes as well as strong quality systems background.
• Excellent communicative skills written and verbal.
• Interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts. Able to influence on all levels.
• Understanding of Six Sigma, Lean or similar. Knowledge of quality tools i.e. process control plan, base line specifications, DOE, SPC, MSA, dFMEA, PfMEA etc.
• Understanding of PPAP and Quality improvements in the supply base.
• The right candidate is able to operate in an international project environment, takes initiatives, is target-oriented and has good decisive judgment. He / She looks forward to working in an international environment.
