Engineering Specialist in Hydraulic Systems.

• Develops and deploys Big Truck hydraulic system strategy for the Big Truck product line
• Develops overall hydraulic knowledge and expertise within BTDC to ensure a competitive design, application and support of hydraulic systems for the Big Truck product line, new and current product.
• The engineer is responsible for providing basic input to the concept phase of projects and works on the design and testing of components, assemblies and vehicle systems.
• Provides adequate supervision to Drafters, Designers, Engineers, Mechanics, Test Technicians and outsourced design groups to ensure that design and release activities are planned and completed in an accurate timely manner
• Integrates manufacturing and procurement input into the design of components, assemblies, or vehicle systems, and participates in the support of manufacturing activities such as Pilot and 1st production
• A further important element is active engagement in multifunctional teams that focus on addressing immediate or longer term customer requirements.

Desired qualifications and experience for all these positions:

• Technical college (BSc)/master (MSc) qualifications in the mentioned areas,
• Five year’s work experience or highly educated self-starting.
• Experience in the design and manufacture of automotive vehicles,
• Ability to determine the root cause of complex production and customer issues
• Creative mindset with good analytical skills
• Well able to communicate ideas and vision
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Knowledge of production and design processes
• English language skills (spoken and written).
• Familiarity with Office packages (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
