Our Client is the global production company, the leader within the sector.
Key responsibilities: the Candidate will be responsible for checking the correctness of accounting documents in terms of VAT, correct and timely submission of VAT returns and compilation of the JPK file. The scope of duties also contains correct and timely production of VAT-EU recapitulative statements, preparation of the Intrastat report, introduction of improvements in the VAT settlements processes, VAT accounting and reconciliation of VAT accounts in the general ledger, participation in tax audits and reviews, handling the VAT refund process. Moreover, the duties include communication with customers in the field of confirmation of deliveries for VAT purposes and correction invoices, booking and settlement of customs documents for VAT purposes, communication with customs agents in the field of confirmation of export sales for VAT purposes, supervision over the correctness of financial data of contractors in the ERP system.
You need to have min. 3-years’ experience in the taxation area (production sector will be an additional asset). It is expected to have a Master degree in economics/accounting/finance. It is also crucial to have very good knowledge of tax regulations and MS Office skills (advanced Excel). It is also demanded to have very good organization of work and English at the B2/C1 level. The accuracy, communicativeness, team work, responsibility and commitment to work will be very appreciated.
