Your new role
Hays is currently recruiting for a Sourcing Team Leader to join our fantastic team!
You will be responsible for delivering the sourcing strategy for the contracted client base within a sector and optimize all commercial opportunities for mutual benefit. Accountable for delivery of a highly professional candidate experience from registration to start.Acting as a sourcing expert lead within the Leicester ISC you will coach and develop a team of Sourcing Partners to achieve effective results.
Team size: 10-12 people
Working within a team of Sourcing Partners you will provide an effective sourcing service to the client split across UK. You will be required to work at a high pace with an expectation that short and long lists will be provided to external clients to an agreed deadline. Sourcing tools and channels are established and provided however we encourage creative thought regarding sourcing activity, for example using social media, or other recruitment marketing tools.

Service delivery
- Accountable for sourcing and attraction approach to ensure this meets the client requirements and delivering suitable candidates in line with the demand plan
- Responsible for relationship management with Recruitment Partners
- Lead by example in exhibiting the Hays values
- Explore and validate new creative methods of talent acquisition
- Supports management initiatives
- Delivery of client SLAs for all roles through effective use of MI
- Provision of specialist knowledge and consultancy services on sourcing
People Management You will be the first point of contact for any escalation and issue management and resolution with key stakeholders as well as:
- Leading 1 to 1 meeting, management of direct reports for day to day operations, PCTs,
- Coaching, training and creating/advising on development plan.
- Direct management of a team to deliver the contracted service
Other responsibilities
- Accurate and timely entering of data into the Recruitment System and information update in accordance with Hays standards
- Consistently meets agreed targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Maintaining proactive and professional internal communication
- Performing other reasonable and legitimate requests from employees
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for passionate professionals with solid recruitment work experience
- Proven experience of managing teams/individuals to inspire motivate and develop capability
- Experience of advising on recruitment and selection strategies including social media
- Proven experience of building and maintaining relationships: internal and external
- Deep knowledge of employment and agency legislation
- Proven demonstrable ability with managing escalations and issue solutions
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills
