THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Henegouwen Belgium.
The company's bakery products are enjoyed in over 50 countries worldwide.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this position you will be responsible for the planning, logistics related to packaging, inventory management and customer service. You will report to the supply chain manager and be in daily consultation internal and external production. On a weekly basis you will meet with the sales department regarding the forecasting, inventory quality and assortment management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate Forecast based on sales input, marketing and product history
- Monitor the accuracy of the forecast
- Prepare MRP/MPS planning and planning for packaging materials
- Stock Management of final products and semi-finished goods
- Working with SAP for planning and S&OP
- Handling complaints from internal and external customers
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master in Logistics or Supply Chain
- 3 to 5 years experience in planning within the food industry
- Fluent in English, Dutch and French
- Experience working with SAP
- Affinity with quality standards within the food industry
- Analytical
