(Software) Verification Engineer

and food industry worldwide. Applikon works closely with many national and international universities and institutes. We are constantly developing new technologies for the bioprocessing industry.
Our main office is located in Delft with subsidiaries in the USA and UK, and more than 180 employees working in Marketing & Sales, Product Development, Production, QC and aftersales product support.
For our Product Development department we are currently looking for a:
(Software) Verification Engineer
As a verification engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary team developing new products for biosystems. You will be responsible for testing (verifying) user specifications of primarily biocontrollers and SCADA systems as well as documenting the test procedures. Following testing, you will be responsible for the transfer of knowledge regarding new products to the service and sales departments. In addition, you will assess new technologies for their applicability in future Applikon products.
- Completed education leading to a technical Bachelor degree eg. Biotechnology
- 1-3 years of working experience
- Good knowledge of the product range and its area of applicability
- Affinity with equipments and computers
- Good oral and written skills
- Good oral and written command of English
- Works accurately; can work independently
