Main tasks
- Developing, executing and maintaining automated tests in Python
- Creating test cases and test reports based on test plan
- Making sure that team’s automated tests have appropriate coverage and traceability to requirements
- Supporting team’s CI/CD environment and approach by maintaining tests up to date, executing them frequently and reporting results to agreed stakeholders
- Cooperation with more experienced team members to get support in executing testing tasks
- Monitoring and evaluating testing process adopted by the team and report any inefficiencies
- Facilitating effective communication both within local team as well as with remote stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar
- At least 2 years of experience in software or embedded software design and implementation using Python (not applicable to the Associate position)
- Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and with strong working ethics
- Solid understanding of software design principles
- Proven proficiency in code quality and performance
- Intellectually curious and detail oriented with outstanding problem-solving skills
- Good command of English allowing smooth communication within international environment
- Experience in collaborating with technical development teams in multiple global locations
- Experience with GIT
- Knowledge of C# and C++
- Understanding of model design techniques such as UML
- Understanding Agile software development process
- Understanding continuous integration practice
- Experience with embedded software systems
