For our Client, an internationally recognized company located in Gliwice, we are looking for Software Development Manager.
Your new role
This role will cover responsibility for the software development teams locates at company’s subsidiary in Gliwice. Software Development Manager will lead the change towards a truly agile organisation based on the SAFe Framework and help to optimize the (cross location) development processes including the transition towards a DevOps oriented approach. Moreover person on this role will co-operate and communicate with corporate IT in headquarter and contribute to strategic technological decisions together with the HQ for all company’s locations. Working as a Manager you will be in charge of management and development of up to 50 employees, full responsibility for the corresponding budget plan, human resource requirement planning, recruitment and development, managing relationships with key (internal) customers and managing local agency relationships and supporting their efforts.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be an ideal candidate you need to hold a minimum of 5 years proven experience in managing and leading with P&L responsibility, experience in IT management position (preferred candidates with background from software development companies), and deep knowledge and experience in agile methodologies (SAFe is not required but is preferred). Moreover, we are looking for candidates with strong customer focus and understanding of customers' business, forward thinking personality with a high degree of customer service, thinking outside of the box. Relevant candidate holds the ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals and outcomes. We are looking for service and results orientated person with a proactive attitude. Due to work in international environment adequate person should be fluent in English and open to some business travels (mainly to HQ).
