Key Accountabilities:
To ensure the AWD (Automated Workflow Distribution) and AWACS (AWD Warning and Control System) solutions developed for AWD operational areas are developed and enhanced to meet changing business requirements and supporting strategic and operational projects.
Individuals will take part in the big project of migration from old desktop AWD version to new web-based one (AWD10) – clients migration, processes redefinition and new developments.
AWD Team in Poland will form part of the Global AWD Team: cooperation with Ireland and Canada, supporting New Business and Customer Operations based mainly in Ireland and Luxembourg with their implementation of AWD10.
Individuals will need to be dedicated, self-motivated and keen to take ownership of all aspects of the role. An ability and desire to work as part of a high performing team is essential.
An immediate member of the AWD team working in the design, development and maintenance of web-based solutions for integration to BPM system and oder IFDS systems.
Requirements:
Critical:
Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science or related field
Experience in information technology with programming experience, specifically in the area of web application development
Passion for coding, creating new and existing programs, while always looking to deliver through, maintainable and practical solutions
Ability to work independently and also able to take direction, communicate and contribute to team
Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Important:
Working experience with full software development life cycle
Experience with wide-range of web technologies, especially in the areas of Java, HTML, JavaScript, CSSm JSON, AJAX, XML, Web-Services (RESTful, SOAP)
Knowledge of the latest trends I in web development and new technologies
Eagerness to learn new frameworks and languages and to work in a fast-paced environment
