THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Netherlands.
One of the largest Food & Beverage producers in the world who are currently looking for a Site Manager for a challenging Greenfield project in Mozambique
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be in charge of both the civil engineering en equipment installation team and you will be in charge of the entire project site.
Because of the challenging location you will need to be pragmatic, a decision-maker and a clear communicator in both Portuguese and English.
You will coordinate the construction and installation teams and will ensure that the project's target are achieved on time and within budget. Besides this, you will ensure the adherence of all parties to the H&S plans.
Furthermore, you will partake in the construction and/or installation meetings on a regular basis and set up additional ones if required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completion of the project within time, scope and budget
- Adherence to the company's project documentation
- Ensuring all parties adhere to project H&S plans
- Coordination of construction and installation teams
- Regular reporting to Project Manager
- Set up the site organisation
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Engineering
- Basic knowledge of civil engineering
- Excellent knowledge of Portuguese and English
- Experience with complex Greenfield and/or Brownfield projects
