Your new company
On behalf of our Client – new manufacturing facility in Gliwice, we are currently looking for a person to hold the position of Chief Accountant/ Financial Controller.
Your new role
The Site Controller will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient finance processes - control standards and full bookkeeping. The Controller/ Chief Accountant will supervise an accurate monthly, half year and annual financial & tax reporting to Region and Group, manage the relationship with external auditors and other external bodies. You will implement Group and Sector policies and procedures around accounting to ensure appropriate controls are in place from the first day of management. This position is also includes tax responsibilities (CIT, VAT) and prepare management reports as well as ad-hoc analyses for the management board. Your other responsibilities will include cooperation with regional finance to understand priorities and deadlines for the year and communicate any controllership issues as they arise.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you need to have at least 7 years of experience in accounting & controlling, financial reporting area (preferably in the manufacturing industry). Finance qualification – ACCA, ACA, CIMA – is highly appreciated. The experience of working collaboratively across functions to achieve shared organizational goals is essential. We are looking for an independent expert with strong business orientation and capability to work with shared services/ remote teams. Fluent English and good MS Office skills are mandatory. Experience in SAP implementation will be highly appreciated.
