For our Client, well-known international company operating within medical industry with its office located in WrocÅ‚aw we are looking for IT Service Delivery Manager – End User Technology.
Your new role
At this position you will be responsible for setting up global standards for end user devices including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, and printers. You will be responsible for both hardware standard selection as well as configuration, asset life cycle management, client application packaging and delivery, and overall utility of services.
This is a senior IT leadership role accountable for ensuring that users have access to, and know how to effectively use all end devices that IT provides to our client employees globally. The responsibilities include designing and delivering training and guidance to other support groups (IT HelpDesk, Deskside support) as well as incident and problem management.
As Service Delivery Manager you will:
- Work with external vendors to understand new and emerging technologies and ensure that the needs and technical support of employees are met
- Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve equipment failures/problems
- Ensures an effective technology integration of management tooling and devices security and configuration
- Drives improvements and performance management of internal and external service providers
What you'll need to succeed
Ideal candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree from IT or Computer Engineering and at least 3-5 years of experience in similar role, excellent communication skills (English) and exceptional organizational skills.
What is more, you need to have wide experience in all aspects of application and work station management, be critical thinker able to research and collaborate effectively.
From technical perspective we are looking for someone with excellent knowledge of MS Windows 10 and associated technologies, familiarity with traditional, VDI and Citrix software delivery methodologies. It is crucial to have also experience in supporting laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, MFD, line printers and mobile devices. Understanding of network infrastructure, experience with virtualization, Azure and AWS administration will be an asset
You should be also ready to travel in 10%-25% time of your work.
