A new role has arisen in a well-established global company with a very strong position on the Poznan market. The company is currently looking for an experienced Senior Tax Consultant to join their structures. Working within an international team you will be responsible for tax compliance and advisory with a focus on both Polish and international taxes. The company is well-known for its innovative technology solutions and an inclusive culture.
Job responsibilities involve:
Assisting the team and other business units in ensuring that all tax compliance requirements are met
Monitoring and identifying tax law changes in Poland and another country that are impacting the business
Tax calculation and analysis (CIT, VAT, Witholding Tax, etc)
Ensuring that fund tax procedures are followed and updated as necessary
Doing research on tax matters as well as responding to the tax authorities’ enquiries
Candidate requirements:
A minimum 3 years of tax experience gained in an advisory firm or in an industry position
A university degree in law, accounting, taxation or a related field
Very good English skills – both spoken and written (min. B2 level)
Experience gained within the financial industry and with exposure to international tax matters
Recognized local Tax and/or Legal qualification would be an advantage
Strong attention to detail and an ability to work independently as well as within a team
The company offers very good work-life balance (working hours between 9am-5pm) as well as great progression opportunities. It is a permanent work contract with a 3-month probation period.
