The Job
As Senior Supply Chain Project Manager you ensures the timely and expected completion of the assigned projects and activities, keep a close eye on the status and milestones, anticipate possible changes and project risks and act accordingly. Key task of the Senior Supply Chain Project Manager is to develop, to manage and realize an agreed pipeline of initiatives and projects with focus on sustainable cost reduction, process improvement and supplier integration. You will be part of the international, cross-functional team.
Responsibilities
- Create an agreed pipeline of initiatives, projects and activities with key stakeholders
- Identify and lift cost-saving opportunities in the supply chain in particular. Primarily:
- Time Mapping Flow Analysis (TMFA)
- Vendor/ Supplier Managed Inventory (VMI/ SMI)
- Supplier Integration (SRM)
- Project realization from definition up to complete implementation
- Liaise with Group Supply Chain on End-to-End Supply Chain Projects
- Support large-scale procurement projects and contribute to tender processes
- Support project related operational procurement tasks on daily basis
Requirements
- Bachelor / Master of Science degree in Business Management, Supply Chain or related field
- 7+ years’ experience in project management in an international, operational environment, preferably FMCG
- Deep knowledge in project management, preferably End-to-End process optimization
- Capable team player with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Assertive, convincing and pro-active.
- Intercultural skills and willingness to travel.
- Six Sigma background is a plus.
