ROLE DESCRIPTION
You are the most senior employee within the Supply Chain team and need to guide the other team members.Your goal is to realize an efficient and effective goods flow, to do this you need to analyze the availability in several warehouses. Processes are very important and part of this is making sure the processes are complaint with the company goals. You will make reports of all of your tasks to discuss this in the weekly meeting with several internal stakeholders. The meetings are very important since you need to keep an eye on the company results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make sure the planning is made correctly and efficient
- Make sure the procurement is running smoothly and efficient
- Leading team members and help them develop and grow within the company
- Stakeholder contact with internal and external managers
- Data analyses to make sure the database is clean and up to date
- Make sure the department goals are clear and achievable and in line with the main goals of the organization
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business Administration
- +8 years of experience in Supply Chain (planning, procurement, customer service, logistics etc.)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch, preferably Spanish, French or German as an extra language
- Management experience and knowledge of the processes of coaching and giving trainings
- Experience in the food industry is a must
- Good knowledge and experience with complex ERP and IT systems such as SAP, JDE, Excel etc.
