Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Secure Internet Gateway Engineer to support our Security Services team.

The Senior Secure Internet Gateway Engineer will support security services projects for our customers.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Daily tasks include managing and maintaining physical and virtual secure web gateway devices and applications such as: Bluecoat (Symantec), Forcepoint, Trend Micro
• Day-to-day operations of the enterprise network solutions as well as assisting security team members with additional system and network applications
• Responsibilities will be to maintain all aspects of the solution, to include on-going documentation, maintenance, training of operations staff, and continuing optimization of the suite to provide robust network services
• Configure, maintain and administer customer's tool for web content filtering based on customer’s policy
• Configure, maintain and administer customer's tool for advanced threat analysis of inbound and outbound Internet traffic - e.g. virtual execution / sandboxing to identify zero-day or targeted web attacks
• Perform regular monitoring of utilization needs and efficiencies and report regularly on tuning initiatives
• Develop customer specific web gateway security policies and requirements in conjunction with customer
• The role may require off hours support, occasionally

 

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3-5 experience in administering networks of which at least 1 year is in a datacenter type environment
• 3-5 experience with a secure web gateway like Bluecoat, Forcepoint or others
• 3-5 experience in troubleshooting network issues in a large environment
• Ability to create formal documentation for systems administration, operations, and maintenance
• Excellent teamwork skills
• Ability to communicate (both orally and written) effectively to various audiences
• University degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar Experience in IT and engineering
• Ability to work in an international context and excellent communication skills
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and working relationships in a project-based / client-serving model, and to work closely with people at different levels of an organization
• English is a mandatory language requirement

 

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• 3-5 years of experience in management consulting or Managed Security Services
• Experience with Bluecoat or similar products – 1 year
• Understanding of formal processes for change and release management in accordance with ITIL standards
• Preferred are industry systems certifications such as CCNP, CCNA
