The Company

They are a Biopharmaceutical company that mainly focuses on cardiovascular diseases, immunological diseases and cancer.

Role Description

You will work in a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the development of bioassays for characterization of vaccines that are produced with the PER.C6® technology.

Responsibilities

- You will focus on assays that measure vaccine potency and vaccine purity (different formats but focus on ELISA, (q)PCR and cell culture-based assay systems)
- You will independently hypothesize, design and report assay development or optimization activities with hands-on involvement
- You will use the work of project members to achieve project control points and achieve team objectives on time and within budget

Requirements

- PhD degree with 2+ years post-doctoral experience or 12+ years of experience performing progressively advanced duties beyond a MSc degree in a relevant field
- Background in cell-based assays; molecular biology; cell biology, or generic life sciences with techniques as ELISA, qPCR, cell culture, virus culture
- Experience in working in industry or assay development
- Knowledge or experience in GMP would be an advantage
