Our client is a professional Food organization, based in Henegouwen Belgium.
The company is a manufacturer of highly specialised food ingredients with a wide range of applications, often found in health, gluten-free and GMO-free food products. The company has a long history and is still family-owned, and has a strong international presence. At the moment, the company is dedicated to taking the next step in Quality Assurance.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The company is looking to hire an experienced QA professional who can effectuate cultural change and bringing QA to the next level, both internally and externally. Internally, the goal is to make people in the production site more aware of the importance of quality and food safety and further developing quality systems. Externally, the goal is to make clients more aware of the company's QA achievements. Additionally, you will work on a number of projects, including continuous improvement projects and product launches in new markets. The Sr. QA Advisor reports to and will work closely together with the QA Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the QA Manager with various complex projects.
- Create awareness for quality among staff.
- Prepare and successfully complete (client) audits.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Engage with clients in the area of Quality Assurance.
REQUIREMENTS
- B.Sc. Industrial Engineering Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biosciences, M.Sc. Bio-Engineering, or a similar degree.
- At least 5 years of experience with Quality Assurance in a production environment in the food industry.
- Experience with HACCP and FSSC 22000 or BRC/IFS.
- Fluency in French and English required; fluency in Dutch is a plus.
