Senior QA Tester

Project: "Complementary to the standard/regulatory client reporting the new High End Client Reporting (HECR) project will implement a premium investment reporting service for the top client segments Institutions, Global Custody, EAM and UHNWI. It Includes customized reports, flexible consolidations, classifications and benchmark comparisons. The paper-based, online and mobile reports can be produced periodically or on demand."

HECR Paper is internal bank application being used by advanced users, where we offer more sophisticated functionalities and configuration options, but also by professional users where we offer basic functionalities. In total we have 30 users, who are preparing reports for our customers.

All report could be configured providing charts, tables, sorting, top/bottom figures fully customized and adopted to every single client needs.

As one of the few projects our development team is working directly with business , which means direct cooperation with Product Owner in ZH on planning, grooming, demo sessions including ad hoc clarifications

Team: HECR Team consists of 20 people - UI Designer, Requirement Engineer, FrontEnd and Backend Developers, Testers (Manual and Automation), Project Manager and Technical Leaders. There are 4 projects being developed in the team. In all cases, we work based on SCRUM methodology, cooperating directly with our ZH partners with regular deliveries done in 2-weeks sprints.

Opportunities: This role is in one among many other projects that exists in the team, with other Testers being involved in similar project with consistent technology stack. There are also plenty opportunities to join testing communities to develop further.

80% automation

• Working on the HECR Application within an agile project team, you will participate in delivering software projects.
• The key objectives of the role are to contribute in testing an application which involves a certain degree of complexity, a lot of parametrization, and as a result a lot of unique scenarios that can de facto be covered in efficient way only by automation. Critical and methodical approach, and good abstract thinking skills are essential.

• The role includes a cross-border collaboration with team members and project management in Zurich, which creates an excellent networking and experience-sharing opportunities.
• Working within a team of another tester and 5 Developers. As it's an Agile project, the proportion of duties varies depending on the stories in a sprint.
• Learning opportunities are to gain knowledge in private banking area. Specifically in management and business information.
• Candidate is able to digest complex business requirements often not fully and precisely stated and be able to understand underlying client problem, analyze it and then do manual tests and is able to write unit tests to automated it.
• Can conduct technical solution discussion on higher abstraction level so it can be easily understood by Product Owner and whole team.
• Can easily and clearly communicate with team members
• Has clear vision of Agile development and can work in SCRUM methodology

• Knowledge of Protractor or Selenium frameworks
• Good experience with SQL (Oracle/MSSQL), able to write multi-join queries
• Experience in programing and scripting (JavaScript, Angular)
• At least 1 year practical experience with Tests Automation, but a Senior candidate
• Experience with testing in an agile methodology
• Sound experience in operational know-how of Test Processes, including test preparation/execution planning, test case creation/execution and reporting
• Familiarity with software development methodology and release processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (professional proficiency)
• Hands on analytical and problem solving skills

• Good practical understanding of programming paradigms and and Test Driven Development
• General experience with C#/.NET, MS SQL, Angular, REST API, Web API, .Net
