Project description:

Next Generation Network Services program which is program seeking to hire new developers to work in automation and agile engineering teams.

This is a new and exciting group to create a lot of automation of processes that are within a bank.

We are seeking to maximise our operational efficiency by automating routine IT and Network tasks. We need exceptional Software Developers to be part of our ambition to build outstanding software solutions to business problems. We want to design, develop and implement creative, dynamic software solutions that will automate complex event processing, data collecting from different processes, provide interface for end users and ultimately amaze our customers and provide industry leading examples of great software development.

We want to start with automating and orchestrating the network, and then progress to wide-ranging self-help solutions that bring results rapidly and effectively across many corporate functions.

Responsibilities:

• Developing Automation and Orchestration solutions
• Providing information on the Solutions to enable the Technical Writers to finalize documentation
• Troubleshooting software problems identified during testing
• Working with Production teams to implement the solutions into Production
• Supporting Operations (Level 3) for the Automated solutions when they are in Production

Requirements:

• 4 – 6 years' experience of Software Development within large enterprises and 1 – 2 years' experience working with Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Information technologies
• Ability to develop with the following tools:

o Python and Django

o Angular.js, bootstrap and other Javascript frameworks

o REST & SOAP (Detailed functional knowledge)

• Ability to document developments and user guides, to the extent that a Technical Writer can take the output and develop into formal documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English, to liaise with Product Owners, Users, Technical Colleagues and Managers.
• Ability to self-manage within Agile teams
• Work with other Developers in creative, energetic and focused Agile teams
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve technical problems and issues
• Ability to work across other domains such as IaaS, PaaS, cloud vendors to provide repeatable automation
