Project description:

Our client is a major Scandinavian bank is going through major development and support transition and process transformation. To support that, we are searching for experienced and self-driven Oracle developer to strengthen our Oracle capabilities in Treasury and AML area.

We are looking for a Senior IT Developer/Analyst with strong SQL Server skills to support and strengthen our development and maintenance teams within Group Treasury IT Solutions. This position will be based within customer premises in Gdynia / Poland. Initially, the start-up phase, it will be for some time required that the resource can work directly with customer development and maintenance team based in Stockholm, in order to streamline the knowledge transfer as well as shorten the startup route to get into the work. Group Treasury IT Solutions is Responsible for the whole application portfolio Regarding the Treasury and Asset and Liability Management (TALM) business areas.

The position we offer is to be one of our key resource within the Oracle and APM team regarding development and maintenance of our strategic Business critical application running on Microsoft/Intel platform and SQL Server. You will work closely together and in cooperation with the other employees in our maintenance teams, our business partners Group Treasury and ALM as well as our Productions Assurance team (mainly offshore team based in India).

Responsibilities:

• New features development and architectural design
• Refactoring and performance tuning
• L3 support of existing features
• Automated testing
• Daily cooperation with geo-distributed teams
• Proactive and self-driven attitude towards getting things done

Requirements:

We believe that you have worked as a Sr developer for min 5+ years and have strong experience with development in SQL server area (2008 or higher). You have broad experience in IT, including application design, solution architecture and infrastructure development.

• We expect that you to have a deep technical knowledge in one or more of these areas: Unix Sun Solaris, Microsoft/intel, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Experience in development and support DWH/BI solutions
• Experience of working in large corporate IT environments
• Experience working in projects.
• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.
• Relevant Bachelor degree or equivalent.
• Experience with education of others will be an advantage
