ROLE DESCRIPTION
In R&D you will part of the packaging team as a Senior Packaging Development Engineer. In this team you will mainly focus on the development of packaging innovations and solutions, taking customer and consumer needs and time and costs savings into account. Closely working together with Sales, Marketing, Procurement and Supply Chain. You will guide people and hand over your Packaging Innovations to Engineering where they are responsible for the implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the new Packaging Development Solutions and Innovations
- Closely communicate you designs to different stakeholders in the company and outside the company
- Keeping track of new packaging innovations and based on this formulate and introduce proposals
- Keeping track of the customers' and consumers' needs when developing packaging solutions
- Guide other Engineers in the development process
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in Industrial Engeneering, Chemical Engineering
- 6-10 years of experience in an (international) food packaging environment
- Developed leadership skills
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Experience in working together with different internal and external stakeholders
