Senior .NET Search API Developer
Location: WroclawOur program was started as the migration of the financial instruments trading legacy mainframe system to a new technical, highly-scalable platform. The success of the program in both the migration and creation of a scalable platform led to it being selected as the strategic platform providing full-scale of advisory services for one of the biggest financial institutions in the world. This has led to significant further investment for legacy system migrations and technical improvements. Currently, we have teams across several locations (Weehawken, Wroclaw) on those projects.
Reengineer set of existing applications and introduce additional application interface layer, allowing to query underlying data from third-party applications
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a custom layer between the Azure Search API and the Front-end of the solution and/or provide support on Azure Search API.
Here the most critical knowledge is of the Search API, so how to run queries, how to tune the performance of queries, and how to use and process the search results.
Knowledge of topics covered in what-is-azure-search documentation, but a major focus on search-query-overview documentation.
SKILLS
MUST
- Strong technical background in C# and .net Core 3.1 (5+ years)
- Strong experience in Azure Search API
- Knowledge of topics covered in search-query-overview documentation
- Experience in the following Azure technologies and frameworks (at least some):
o Azure AppService
o Azure Key Vault
o Azure Search
o Azure Language API
o Application Insights
- Unit, integration, and functional testing experience
- Ability to write clean self-describing code
