THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
They are a large company with different solutions regarding transport for the food sector.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the logistical manager you will be managing a part of the business focussed on a specific mode of transport. Hereby you manage the transport of several partners to docks both nationally as internationally. The logistical manager is also a part of the MT which requires you to actively assist in the development of this growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the logistics for one of the company's departments. With several FTE ranging from planners to drivers you manage to get fresh product to the customer on a daily basis and weekly basis. Besides this you are an active part of the management team and assist in the required tasks that come with that responsibility. Also you will be responsible for:
- The management and sales & operational side for this specific company branche
- Assisting in creating and deciding on coming strategy
- Being a major part in the growth and continues improvement processes
- Optimising current IT solutions and introducing new ones
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Supply chain management, Logistics or similar
- A previous management position within logistics or supply chain
- Experience and drive in assisting a growing company
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
- International experience is a big preference
