Senior Java Engineer

You will be joining a project expanding on one of our many spheres of expertise in association with one of our industry-leading clients. RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:
- writing performance oriented and highly reliable software;
- delivering results within project's resources and time constraints, meeting quality requirements;
- ensuring designs are in compliance with specifications;
- working closely with project stakeholders to meet common goals;
- supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
SKILLS
MUST
Experience in modern Java development is a must;
Experience in using modern frameworks: (Spring, Hibernate, etc...);
Understanding of data structures and algorithms with ability to program and use them and assess their performance;
Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills;
Understanding of the development process and Agile software development methodology;
Ability to collaborate with stakeholders in English in virtual working environment;
Ability to test own code Unit testing/automated tests;
Openness to learn new technologies.
NICE TO HAVE
Understanding of Microservices architecture, previous experience in developing applications for Cloud;
Understanding streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc);
Experience in FrontEnd development (Javascript + JS Frameworks, Typescript),
Scripting skills (Python, shell).
