We are looking for Senior Java Developer for one of our Client located in Szczecin, who creates an application to combine an extensive economic and financial database with easy to use tools for analysis and smart data visualization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You'll take over maintenance and development of the systems responsible for storing, processing and serving tens of millions of economic and financial timeseries. You'll work closely with creator of the current codebase, communicating with software developers implementing the client application and the team responsible for the back-end environment. You'll also have a chance to identify new areas where your skills can help others or improve existing processes, with an option of full independence in the long run.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Java knowledge (they use Java SE 8), experience in Servlet creation, database knowledge: MySQL/PostgreeSQL or Oracle; Linux
BENEFICIAL SKILLS:
Understanding of the MySQL replication, experience with full-text search mechanisms like Sphinxsearch, Manticoresearch, Elastisearch, SOLR, familiarity with Debian operating system.
