Senior Java Developer

About the Project:

DMG is a strategic Foreign Exchange (FX) Data Hub which:

*Sources clients data via various interfaces to enable FX trading with the clients.*Provides an engine to apply regulatory rules.*Sources and masters Settlement (Payment) Instructions.*Provides client data confidentiality (CDC) compliant data.*Distributes client data to front-end systems.

Our team:

Project Team consists of teams located in Krakow Poland and Switzerland.

Team includes proffesionals from different areas of IT - Java/Scala/SQL delevelopers, business analysts, QA/test engineers.

Technologies used:

• Scala (Akka, Scalaz, and ScaleXML frameworks, ScalaCheck and ScalaTest testing frameworks)
• Java (multithreading, Vaadin framework)
• Angular 7
• Oracle DB

• Design, develop and/or re-engineer complex application components, and integrate software packages, programs on multiple platforms

• The primary development language is Java and Scala.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and technical curiosity are essential
• Good understanding of core computer science concepts and code optimization techniques.
• Ability to drive the process, suggest new approaches, ideas, solutions.
• Experience in Scrum / Agile methodology
• Hands-on knowledge of scripting (Shell, Javascript, Python or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
