For our Client, a global FinTech company which creates new structures in Poland, we are seeking for candidates interested in a role of Senior Java Developer.
Your new role
Senior Java Developer will work on the product backlog to enhance and develop the Company platform in an Agile environment. Working on this position you will: work as part of the development team to deliver features from the product backlog and work on main Company platform project involving the implementation of new and existing sub-systems, solutions and processes. Moreover, you will be delivering code to the highest standards through the use of TDD and BDD techniques and the creation of unit tests. We are looking for a Candidate who is capable of understanding and contributing to the technical solution from design through to code level . You will contribute in the continuous integration and delivery of the products and work closely with relevant teams internally to ensure alignment and coordination across operations as part of the seamless implementation of existing and new systems. As a Senior Java Developer you will also provide estimates to the Development Lead to allow accurate planning of sprints and the product roadmaps. Furthermore you will provide regular and effective progress updates and work closely with Technology Project Manager to ensure the management of any delivery risks or issues. Additionally you will participate in the design of new features through the use of mock-ups and prototypes (occasionally).
What you'll need to succeed
An ideal candidate should have at least more than 3 years of professional work experience in a variety of software development approaches, methodologies (especially Agile) and developing distributed systems in microservice architecture. Moreover, we are looking for candidates with experience in requirements capture, analysis techniques and process improvement approaches. Also experience in the development of software within Java ecosystem and experience in using relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational datastores (Elasticsearch, parquet files) are important for us. An ideal Candidate should understand of web application frameworks and techniques (Spring, Angular, REST). You should also have experience in the development of enterprise applications using a service architecture (REST APIs) and experience with working in continuous integration environment (preferably with Jenkins). What’s more understanding and exposure to JIRA, Confluence, GIT, Jenkins, Gradle, Artifactory will be an additional asset. Additionally you should to manage small team of developers by providing examples and teaching good practices.
