Focusing not only on the delivery of new features, you will be an active member of a SCRUM team and have power to create their own internal processes. You are self-motivated and preferably have some proficiency in Angular and JavaScript.JS. Your new role
As a Software Developer you will be responsible for building complete backend and frontend solutions for our international clients. Other responsibilities:
- Contributing in all aspects of software engineering including design, testing, implementation, deployment, and support.
- Collaborating with Technical Lead, Engineering Lead / Delivery Lead and Product Owner to deliver world-class solutions.
- Problem solve across multiple disciplines including API development, data engineering, machine learning, and cloud.
- Reviewing multiple applications requirements; analyzing technical specifications of any new applications
- Reviewing code and maintain the code quality
What you'll need to succeed
Must haves:
- 5+ experience delivering solutions based on Java (J2EE) – both web (MVC) and server side, with great understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs,
- Proven skills in Spring Boot (MVC), Hibernate, REST webservices and API design as well as Hibernate (JPA), Spring Security, Ant, Maven, Log4J
- Knowledge of data processing / streaming - Spark is a great asset
- Working day to day experience in at least one cloud platform : AWS preferred, and containers (docker , Kubernetes)
- Strong experience in working with databases – RDBMS (Oracle, PL/SQL, ) or NoSQL (Mongo / Couch / Cassandra)
- Very good sense of DDD and microservices architecture
- Good exposure to one of frontend frameworks – Angular or ReactJS, Redux and other parts of frontend stack (tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.)
- Experience in unit and end to end testing (JUint / JBehave )
Nice to haves:
- Working experience with Hadoop and Cassandra is a plus
- Previous exp or good knowledge of machine learning topics
