Regular/Senior C# Developer with Java

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement new platform solutions
- Advocate industry best-practices in software design and continuous delivery
- Improve the testability of solutions to maintain high quality
- Building secure, scalable, distributed and fault-tolerant cloud-based systems
- Investigating issues raised by the support or customers, integrate/develop new features inside the product to expose them to the end customer
- Mentoring other developers and sharing your knowledge and experience throughout the company
- Participating in Agile planning sessions, retrospectives & stakeholder demos
- Be self-driven, while helping the team meet sprint goals and overall project delivery milestones
SKILLS
MUST
- Good knowledge of C# and design patterns
- Experience with applications running on .Net Framework (4.6, Core)
- Good knowledge of Windows platform
- Some experience with Java and server-side development, desire to improve skills in these areas
- SQL and database experience (Postgres preferred)
- Experience with good source control concepts and tools (Git)
- Ability to learn new products and programming languages quickly
- Excellent problem-solving skills; can triage and resolve critical tech issues without supervision
- Excellent communications skills, a good attitude, and a friendly personality
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with C# threads, WMI, Windows services
- Experience with Struts 2 framework and ORM technologies
- API technologies, REST
- Experience with industry leading CI/CD practices and Jenkins build configuration management
- Experience running large applications on one or more public clouds (preferably AWS)
- Familiarity with Microservices
