For our client, a new investor from Wrocław, we are looking for people interested in the position of Senior DevOps Engineer.
Your new role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be defining and communicating the DevOps strategy and best practices for build, release and monitoring to the whole team. You will be seeking to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the development teams by serving as a matter expert on cloud and containerisation topics and automating processes and pursuing end-to-end CI/CD for all applications. You will also ensure microservices based applications are proactively monitored to track service levels and that metrics and alerts are in place to feedback or escalate to development teams.
On this position you will work with some of the following: Artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus) , build technologies (Maven, Gradle), development languages (Python, Java, C#, Node, Angular, React/Redux), code quality (Fisheye, Crucible, SonarQube), configuration management (Packer, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
What you'll need to succeed
To be a successful Candidate you need to have 5+ years of DevOps/Release Engineering/System Engineering or Development experience managing large scalable software platforms. Candidates should have knowledge of Configuration Management tools (Ansible etc.) and they should also understand Infrastructure as Code in the cloud (Terraform, Cloudformation). Perfect Candidate is an expert in containers and Orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes and has great experience with CI/CD systems and pipelines, notably Jenkins. On this position experience with AWS and Linux administration are also required. Fluent English is a must.
