Our client is a professional Chemicals and Food organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
They collaborate with all sorts of partners in the Food industry. With over 10.000 employees worldwide in over 90 countries this company is one of the largest in their industry.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As the Senior Demand Planner EMEA you will be the main contact person for various clients whom each have a wide variety of products. It will be your task to create the necessary sales forecasts. This requires you to heavily communicate with different departments in the company such as sales, marketing and R&D. Besides this you work closely with the supply planning department to keep inventory at the correct levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the mid and long term planning ranges. You will use data such as historical sales figures, demand drivers and your own forecasts to plan, monitor and adjust where necessary. Besides this you act as the single point of contact for a large part of the Supply Chain activities. By acting as the SPOC it's your goal to create a better relationship with the clients and customers of this company. Also you will be responsible for different continues improvement projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- BSc or MSc degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- At least 5 years; experience in a similar role
- Great analytical and communicative skills
- Fluent in English with a preference towards another European language
