The Application Sr Software Engineer is part of the application team. His/her key purpose is to Designs, develops, modifies, adapts and implements short- and long-term solutions to information technology needs through new and existing applications.He also reviews software requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.
The (Sr) application Software Engineer works in closed collaboration with other disciplines.
Responsibilities
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements applications for medical instrumentsDetermines systems software design requirements
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency
Generates systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures
Resolves complex problems that do not have routine solutions.
Mentors (jr) colleagues
Requirements
Education and experienceBachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, mechatronics or a related technical field
Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in R&D environment
Candidate for or certification in InfoSec Security are a plus, e.g., CISSP, CSSL
Very experienced professional with extensive knowledge of Software Engineering, preferably in a regulated environment (ISO, FDA...)
Knowledge and skills
Able to works independently with minimal guidance.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
Extensive experience with Delphi Xe10
Working knowledge of MS-SQL, Interbase, C#
Working knowledge of TFS, VSTS, GiT
Experience with static code analysis tools
