Our client is a professional Pharmaceutical organization, based in Belgium.

The organisation is well-known on the market with a vision strategy. They provide good services and have good partnerships with their clients. Because they are continuously growing there are a lot of possibilities for a person to grow within the company. Now they are looking for a more senior profile because it is a new role and it is a specific scoop.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Category Buyer Scientific Services you will be responsible for prospecting, selecting, contracting and follow-up of service solutions that apply to the expectations of the clients. You will be giving support to the operational teams who are working on-site of the clients in the pharmaceutical sector. Based on the GxP analysis you determine the specific characteristics of the projects to find the best partner/serviceproviders. You will be working from the office in Brussels voor clients and stakeholders in Belgium, but you will also work in The Netherlands one day per week when the client portfolio requires this.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- You manage the procurement categorie "Scientific Services" in the field of the buyer strategie, the added value and the risks of the categorie
- You guarantee the continuity concerning the delivery of provision of services and products versus optimal conditions and you unequivocal register the
procurement agreements in contracts.
- You register and capitalise the innovations based on the current market
- You execute correct and prompt (financial) reports concerning the progress of your activities and the obtained results versus your targets/goals.
- You take care for accurate administration in the field of your projects, supplier files and the intern and extern procurement contracts.
- You actively contribute to the refining of the databases and benchmarking, per categorie of services.
- You periodically analyse the performance of your suppliers in deliberation with the sites. You make sure that the agreed actions are assured.
- You co-work transparant and constructive with your suppliers, stakeholders and your colleagues within the Global Supply Management community.
- You support the site managers and the QA coördinator according to their problems with the registered suppliers

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor or Master degree regarding sciences, economics or business administration
- 2 Years of experience with the procurement of provision of services in the pharmaceutical industry and/or lab/production environment with high standards
(GxP) is a plus
- Knowledge of supplier and lab instruments
- You are trilingual Dutch, French and English
- Experienced with MS Office, especially Excel
- Drivers license B
