Your new company
Our Client is an international company headquartered in the US with a newly open business centre in Gdańsk. Their Procurement Operations Team is part of the Global Procurement and provides process across EMEA markets.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing all phases of the procure-to-pay process, including processing requisitions, gaining approvals, issuing purchased orders, and tracking progress of POs to shipment. You will coordinate supplier set up, as well as control information flow to suppliers, such as change-orders. You will communicate proactively with various functional groups about order status and schedule challenges, and manage change orders, rush-requests, and returns, as necessary. Moreover, you will gather and input the data to develop a forecast for purchasing needs to include lead times and inventory.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you should have about 2 years of experience in procurement functions andbuying direct and indirect goods for manufacturing. Knowledge of SAP/Ariba will be an asset.
