Senior Buyer EMEA (m/f)
In this position, you will be responsible for two main activities: Support the European IMS Lead Buyers and develop together strategies for different consumables, fixed assets and services. The second task is to ensure best price, in time and compliant sourcing of goods and services for company plants.

Our Client is an International Manufacturing Automotive Company.
Description
- Continue to develop together with the Lead Buyers strategies on European level for different International Product Groups
- Manage and further improve the supplier base for JSS
- Negotiate and coordinate high value orders and complex contracts according to IMS rules
- Support to improve and standardize actual processes using Kaizen principles, 5S and Lean Management Tools
- Define and achieve Cost Saving budget
- Perform risk management according to the corporate guidelines, identify and mitigate risks in a continues way
- Work according existing, and support to develop further, the compliance and control environment for IMS Purchasing
Profile
- University Graduate, Technical area of studies is preferred
- Proven Purchasing Experience of min 5 years
- Project Management exposure within previous purchasing roles
- Excellent Negotiation and Strategic Thinking skills
- A thorough, assertive decision maker, with strong Customer Focus and an "It's going to work" attitude
- Good knowledge of German or English
