Your new role
Would you like to be a part of the vibrant IT development within logistics and liner - shipping?We are looking for a Senior BI Developer to our product-team for “Dashboard for Quality Promises” in Gdansk. The team is responsible for the development of a key product within our Business Intelligence landscape, and you will play a very important role in shaping the future of BI within Hapag-Lloyd. The role is primarily focused on back-end and front-end BI development, but as a senior we also expect you to take part in requirement and architectural work.In addition, as the team is re-organizing in Gdansk, there will be opportunities to shape your own role as well as the setup of the team.

Your new role
Would you like to be a part of the vibrant IT development within logistics and liner - shipping?We are looking for a Senior BI Developer to our product-team for “Dashboard for Quality Promises” in Gdansk. Responsibilities and tasks
- Understand and translate functional and non-functional requirements into a suggested architecture and design.
- Develop highly complicated BI solutions
- Play a key part in defining the solutions overall architecture and design
- Coordinate development, test and release tasks within the team and among more junior colleagues
- Supporting stakeholders in defining the right questions and measures, as well as helping them to understand data insights
- Support team and PO function to write high-quality user stories
What you will need to succeed
- Knowledge, experience and interest of business processes, preferably within logistics and/or customer service
- Minimum 5 years of experience as developer using BI-tools, preferably QlikView/Qlik Sense
- Minimum 2 year of experience of SQL or similar
- Good understanding of data modelling for analytics as well as for data warehousing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to achieve good cooperation with different types of stakeholders
- Excellent English language skills
