THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Biotechnology organization, based in Waals-Brabant Belgium.
The client is a global producer of bio-pharmaceutical therapeutics that are aimed at overcoming the major global diseases.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
You will be responsible for the department of preclinical vaccines development. You manage a team of scientists and technicians and support them in the design, execution and analysis of scientific experiments. This position is on a permanent basis. You will report to the analytical R&D lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You oversee all scientific developments within your department such as the design and execution of experiments; management of data gathering and processing; reports of results.
You have a strong scientific background in vaccines and monoclonal immunology have relevant industry experience. You are an excellent team leader with strong communication skills as this will be a large part of your daily responsibilities. You are an open communicator with experience in customer relation contact.
Able to take decisive action when needed and keep your department to superior practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- PhD in Life Sciences with 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on, demonstrated monoclonal antibody experience
- Team lead experience
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communicator
