Senior Accountant - USGAAP
On this position you will manage certain US Gaap related specific areas of its several entities Accounting, support all stakeholders on all US Gaap questions, perform all accounting activities across the specific entities including Month End Close preparation and reporting and also drives cooperation and communication with other functional leaders.

Our Client is an international company from pharmaceutical sector with their SSC located in Prague. For their developing structures we are looking to hire candidates for the role of Senior Accountant - USGAAP.
Description
- Key expert for specific US Gaap questions, training and support of department, users and Documentation
- Establish accounting policies and guidelines in accordance with US Gaap and Corporate Requirements
- Perform the end-to-end activities in the Account-to-Report processes according corporate policies and in accordance to US Gaap standards for dedicated areas
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting in line with US Gaap and meet all corporate and regional deadlines
- Develop subject matter expertise to provide guidance across the organization
- Understand the balance sheet & income statement impacts of every transaction to challenge or propose material accounting judgmental entries when relevant
- Responsible for adjustments and resolves problems within company guidelines and given policy
- Support on internal and external Audits including SOX Testing and internal controls
- Ensure documentations (Guidelines, Manuals) are complete and up-to-date
- Support group wide finance projects
Profile
- Higher degree in business administration or equivalent finance specific degree, CPA/ACCA
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles and processes
- Account to Report knowledge and experience is preferred
- Experience in a multinational corporation desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Good level in any other European language would be an asset
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and to drive necessary action to completion
- Demonstrate sound work ethics, respect and cultural sensitivity and awareness
- SAP, Hyperion, US-GAAP, SOX
