THE COMPANY
Our client is a professional Agriculture organization, based in Noord-Holland Netherlands.
The company is an internationally active agricultural organization with breeding programs in many different crops. Currently the R&D team is looking for a seed physiologist.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
In this role you will be responsible for evaluating the newly developed seeds and judging the results on physiological and phytopathological qualities of the seed. At the same time you will be involved in the development of techniques used to do this work to a high standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Involvement in research projects looking for new research techniques;
- Use of new imaging techniques;
- Teaching colleagues on your newly developed techniques.
REQUIREMENTS
- MSc or PhD in a related plant sciences field with several years working experience;
- Affinity with statistics and experience in setting up your own research projects;
- Pleasant colleague to work with and speak the Dutch and English languages.
