For our client, Zalando - a leading fashion platform in Europe, we are currently searching for an experienced Security of People and Property Coordinator / Specialistin the newly opened Logistic Centre next to Łódź (Głuchów, Tuszyn).

Your new role:

• Responsibility for the security of people and property, and preventing accidents
Developing, improving and localising Security & Loss Prevention Processes and systems, according to law and corporate standards
• Participation in the planning of processes and systems, before the opening of a property (e.g. the location of cameras, consultation on access control system)
• Facilitate smooth security operation by coordinating between the warehouse operator, the external security guarding service provider, and colleagues on a relevant position in other Zalando’s departments
• Maintain relationship with external parties, including Law Enforcement, Police and Fire Brigade
Managing Physical Access Controls, CCTV Systems, Alarm Systems and other security equipment
• Performing internal security investigations
• Monitoring the performance of security guards
• Managing a good documentation, keeping a record of activities
• Bringing new ideas that may help us to improve the quality of our daily operations

What you’ll need to succeed

At least 2 years of experience in managing the security of people and property, experience in logistics would be a great asset
• English language level B2/C1 is a must

• Solid knowledge of security systems, especially access card management, CCTV systems, and security procedures
• Reliable knowledge of laws and regulations regarding security guarding and privacy
• Great communication skills, non-conflict personality
• Ability to manage people from different departments and companies, and coordinate their work
• Stress-resistance, and remaining calm even during a security-related incidents
