SAP Technical Team Lead

The position holder of this function acts as the main contact for technical team members and stakeholders.

Description

• Lead a small team of internal and external SAP technology consultants
• Coordinate the external SAP basis partner to ensure that the system landscape (ECC on HANA, BW/4HANA, CRM, GRC, GTS, SolMan & web shop) is managed according to the agreed SLA's
• Manage the technical part of our external cloud systems (hands-on when required & provider management) to ensure systems are running stable and SLA's are met (SAP IBP, Ariba, Analytics Cloud, Concur, SuccessFactors)
• Responsible for the SAP cloud platform integration which acts as the main middleware for all externally connected systems (coordinate external partners for daily operations & changes)
• Coordinate with the team the SAP authorisation and security processes (Role management, security reviews, monthly security patching)
• Coordinate the SAP development backlog together with the internal lead developer
• Coordinate the SAP BW/4HANA activities together with the internal consultant and external partner
• Prepare & execute technology driven projects
• Ensure that system changes are being executed in accordance with the internal change management process, evaluate and judge new technical change requests

Profile

• Understands the business context of the position and is willing to proactively work with the business partners
• Ability to interact with the different levels of management
• Needs to adapt quickly to new situations like scope change, new projects or re-prioritisation
• Extensive technical SAP skills around SAP basis & interfaces (familiar with different interface technologies, SAP basis overall management)
• Minimum 6-8 years experience in an international environment as an SAP technology consultant in the SAP basis and/or integration area, know how around SAP BW considered being a plus
• Hands-on experience with technical topics like SAP basis, SSO, or interfaces is a must
• Experience in an industrial company is considered to be a plus
• Deep understanding of technical IT topics in the project context (e.g. development process, IT operations, interfacing, work-flows)
• Excellent English
