SAP Team Lead - IS Regional Delivery Centre

We are looking for an ambitious SAP Team Leader to manage a newly created team of 8 functional consultants based in Gliwice, Poland on a hybrid basis. As an IS Regional Delivery Centre Leader, you will act as the head of the SAP team for producing countries and lead international SAP ERP roll outs and S4 Implementations. Description

Project-related activities:

• In charge of collecting and understanding business requirements.
• In charge of designing the technology answer to the requirement; aligning with business and IT strategies and in compliance with the organization's architectural standards.
• Examine and evaluate current systems to produce impact analysis and propose options.
• Might participate in component and data architecture design, product evaluation, and buy versus build recommendations.
• In charge of configuring or customizing/programming solutions; in some cases, leading configuration or customization/programming when performed externally.
• Document interfaces between new and legacy systems. Leads system integration activities.
• In charge of testing, implementing solution or feature which is to be delivered on time and within budget; liaising with Global Service Operations for future maintainability of the solution/feature.
• Responsible for selecting or designing environment approach for the activity in charge, liaising with IT infrastructure team and Global Service Operation team.
• Execute the pilot; execute rollout and distribution of tested systems in project mode in collaboration with the Division organization.
• Leads or contributes to Regional technology projects (upgrade….).
• Applies the project management methodology for his/her domain.
• Coordinates the IS/IT team members that contribute to the project implementation.
• Coordinates the functional and technical activities for the project in terms of quality, workload and time frame.
• Supports the implementation of the technical and functional solution.
• Validates and guarantees the implemented solution.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and delivery methods

Day-to-day Support and Change Requests related activities:

• Upon Global Service Operation's request, intervenes in escalated incidents to contribute to resolution when his/her level of expertise is necessary.
• Contributes to the Change request process by :
  • Leading business prioritisation exercise with Business Regional organisation.
  • Approving the relevance and feasibility from IS point of view, via his/her knowledge of technology and core model approach.
  • Delivering design and deployment for complex change requests that are not externalised.

From a Management perspective:

• In charge of workload estimates and team capacity optimisation.
• Alert in case of team workload issue.
• Contributes and assigns duties, responsibilities, and scope of work to his/her team.
• Evaluate team member performance.
• In charge of team management, motivation, and development

Profile

• Experience in managing cross-functional and complex projects; notably in Supply chain and Production areas.
• Experience in Automotive is ideal.
• Experience in team management.
• Experience in operating in International Environment with matrix organisation.
• Project Management and Methodology skills.
• Process, Data and IS solution background; especially around supply chain and industrial processes.
• Functional expertise in SAP and EDI
• Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
• Negotiation skills.
• Rigorous and Methodological.
