Purpose of the Job:
As Team Lead SAP Global Finance you are the responsible IT manager for mainly SAP-based processes and applications within the country finance departments of the Group. You and your team are part of the R2R IT group to implement and change the finance processes within the Group and have the IT ownership of dedicated processes and applications.

Purpose of the Job:
As Team Lead SAP Global Finance you are the responsible IT manager for mainly SAP-based processes and applications within the country finance departments of the Group. You and your team are part of the R2R IT group to implement and change the finance processes within the Group and have the IT ownership of dedicated processes and applications.
Main tasks & responsibilities:
- Your main responsibility is to lead a team of SAP consultants as part of the Record-to-Report process area
- In cooperation with two existing R2R IT teams you will work closely with the R2R Global Process Owner and guide or consult the country finance manager or group functions
- You advice the business in conceptual questions of SAP accounting, controlling, tax reporting, local legal requirements and its respective application solutions
- As part of the IT leadership team, you contribute in IT management tasks and long-term organizational development to support the success of the Group IT and your tower Finance & Central Services
- Within your area you are responsible for the IT project portfolio, sourcing and project execution led by your assigned project team and are presenting status and financial KPI towards the Group senior management
- You hold a quality role for changes within the current system landscape – based on ECC 6.0, S/4HANA and analytic tools like SAP Analytics cloud or FIORI
Requirements:
- You hold a successfully completed university degree or a comparable qualification
- You gathered several years of extensive practical managerial experience in consultancy and especially in SAP finance in manufacturing industry and its integration within an international cooperation
- You ideally possess a good understanding of business processes and local / group finance function
- You are characterized by great analytic skills, hands-on mentality combined with entrepreneur thinking and a driving attitude
- You are an experienced communicator and team player and used to work with executive management level
- You have very good knowledge of written and spoken English. German language skills are appreciated but not mandatory
