Summary:
This position requires a customer service oriented individual with strong interpersonal skills. This individual will qualify target accounts, interface with customers, and work closely with and assist the general manager as well as the regional sales managers to increase the company’s customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the smooth running of all customer requests (including offers, order management and receipt of payment)
- Active offer management including the creation and follow-up of offers
- Independent order processing, monitoring of delivery dates and complaint processing
- Pricing and price management in consultation with the sales department
- Product advice including cross selling and clarification of technical problem solutions with the technical support.
- Support of the field staff with visit planning as well as telephone acquisition in the course of product campaigns and lead/prospect management
- Master data maintenance
Profile:
- Successfully completed commercial vocational training or technical vocational training with appropriate commercial training
- First experience in internal sales in the area of technical products that require explanation
- High customer and service orientation as well as a
strong sense for customer needs and requirements - Pronounced affinity for technology
- High level of initiative and hands-on mentality
- Strong organizational skills
- Advanced knowledge of the common MS Office programs
- Profound knowledge of SAP
- Very good English language skills
