The Company

Our client is an international healthcare company, active in biotechnology, medical devices and pharmaceuticals. They are based in Brussels, Belgium. They provide services in diagnostics to general practitioners, pathologists, hospitals and other healthcare providers. They are currently looking for a sales representative, who will be building and maintaining long-term constructive relationships with clients and prescribers.

Role Description

As the sales representative, you will be the point of contact between the company and all their customers, consisting of doctors, generalists, pathologists and more. You will work in accordance with the strategic and tactical sales plans, in oder to create long-term collaborations with the medical laboratories. Furthermore you will continuously identify new opportunities for business growth, and discuss them internally with your colleagues being medical laboratory direction, biologists/doctors.

Responsibilities

Interaction with customers (Doctors, Pathologists, Generalists, Hospitals, Private Clinics) on a daily basis to understand their needs and address to them
Present new products and solutions to your clients and prospects
The review of product offerings, propose and implement adaptions together with biologists and other product experts
Identify key prescribers to serve as ambassadors for maintaining the image of the laboratories
Work on new product launches with key stakeholders
Work in close relationship with customer service
Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and market trends

Requirements

You hold a Master or Bachelor Degree, preferably in a medical field
You have a background with the medical life sciences market, and understand IVD and the medical lab industry
You preferably have a proven track record in sales
Interested in the industry and the maintenance of long-term business relationships
You speak fluently French and Dutch, English is a plus
Good communication and negotiation skills
