THE COMPANY

Our client is a professional FMCG and Food organization, based in Utrecht Netherlands.

They are a successful importer and exporter of meat and obtain their meat from the best suppliers in the world. Not only do they provide the best quality, but they also maintain good customer and supplier relationships. They deliver their products throughout The Netherlands among which wholesalers and restaurants.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a sales manager you are responsible for the acquisition of new clients, but also responsible for maintaining the business relations with current clients. You are aware of the price trends in the market and research the direct competitor activities. You will be responsible for Northern Europe and the Benelux and work in an international team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Sell products to our new and existing clients
- Visit clients to maintain business relations
- Create strategic sales plan to determine and achieve targets
- Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
- Work closely with other sales colleagues and teams

REQUIREMENTS

- Minimum HBO/Bachelor with a commercial background
- At least 5 years' experience in food sales
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
- Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written), another European language is an advantage
